Contracts Manager
With over 12 years’ experience in the passive fire/construction industry and 3 years project managing multiple
successful projects in the private and public sector, including NHS/healthcare, housing associations and local councils. Martin progressed into the Contracts Manager role at R Lewis & Co (UK) Ltd in 2021, his can do attitude and hunger to succeed drives him to deliver on every front.
Managing multiple projects at one time I show great leadership and ability to motivate teams to exceed expectations. Martin has a passion and desire to deliver projects on time, safely whilst maintaining very high standards, ensuring the smooth delivery of contracts. With a vast knowledge of the passive fire industry, drive, motivation, knowledge and passion enables him to succeed.
ROLES & RESPONSIBLITIES
- Managing multiple sites simultaneously
- Programing of works
- Liaising with clients and customers at site and office level to understand their needs and requirements to deliver the project.
- Motivating operatives to achieve set goals and programs
- Ensuring health and safety practices are adhered to
- Site visits to ensure quality standards are being adhered to with QA checks destructive testing on site and through Boris
- Organizing and attending progress meeting with clients and site management teams
- Resolving complaints, site issues or QA fails.
- Full ownership responsibility for the program of works
- Dealing with suppliers to ensure all technical specification is achieved
- Monitoring efficiency of onsite operatives
- Developing trainees to their full potential
- Ensuring contracts are accurate, planned and a clear objective set for supervisors and operatives
